Miners Alley Playhouse Presents: A Rocky Mountain Holiday.  It’s winter somewhere in Colorado’s
 Rocky Mountains and a snow-slide has blocked the highway.  Temporarily delayed a group of both
 friends and strangers thrust together in a roadhouse till the plows can clear the snow. 
What results is a wonderful couple of hours of festive storytelling and song that will delight
one and all this holiday season.

Kick off the Candlelight Walk
With Jingle Bells!  Get your USA stage 6 Pro Cycling
Challenge Cowbell (a permanent souvenir).  Decorate the bell for this festive occasion;
adorn the Christmas tree with one or more. The cowbells are available at the Golden
 Visitors Center and Peak Cycles.


 
Dress festive for the Candlelight Walk!  Gather at Foothills Art Center, 6:00pm, at 15th
and Arapahoe Street for Caroling.  Hot beverages will be served by the Golden Lions Club
at the top of the hill (as well as after the Candlelight Walk at the bottom of hill at the
Golden Visitors Center).  Enjoy the musical styling of a CSM brass trio.  The Golden
Chamber will be selling candles for .50 cents.  The walk will begin at 6:30pm.  After the Candlelight Walk, 
the Golden Visitors Center will be serving  hot beverages compliments 
of Golden Lions Club, cookies,
compliments of  Golden Safeway, and providing toys from
Golden McDonalds.
  Live Reindeer  will be in the parking lot for petting,
along with a puppet show by Le Chock.  All these activities will be in the Holiday Square,
aka the Visitors Center Parking lot. Refreshments and entertainment will be provided by
 several businesses and cultural facilities. Santa will announce the $1000 HART

The Colorado School of Mines Chamber Singers, Orchestra and Concert Band,
under the direction of Dr. Robert Klimek and Professor Jonathan Cullison,
will present their annual SEASONAL SING!  on December 2nd at 7:30pm
on the Bunker Auditorium Stage in the Green Center.


This year’s presentation will feature holiday music from England, Italy
 and South America.  The evening   will conclude with a visit from Santa and an
audience sing-along accompanied by the
Orchestra and the mighty ‘Black Beauty’
CSM organ.  Admission is free and open to the public.  Seating is on a first come
